2024 Summer Adventures
Explore the Rocky Mountains with us just 45 min west of Calgary. Experience the majestic landscape. Clean mountain rivers and beautiful meadows under the peaks of the first 3000m Rocky Mountain range away from the crowds. We offer multi-day hiking and biking vacations for those who seek an adventure with some comfort! We hike or bike in the Forget-Me-Not-Range. Our trips are between 3 and 5 days long. We carry a day’s worth of snacks and water but travel to Handle-Bar pre-set campsite.
Our motto is to “Make the Extreme Accessible”. We don’t require you to be an extreme athlete and our trips are not competitive. We travel to enjoy the landscape. We travel to take a break. Our hiking days are between 10-15 km in mountain terrain. Our biking days will typically cover 20-25 km in mountain terrain and around 50km on gravel roads /day.
The price includes breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as snacks. We can provide bike rentals for a fee.
Dinner at the end of a long day. Only few things are better in the outdoor life and at the Handle-Bar we provide good food.
